Stupid Money

So, this past Monday, I was offered another location to work at on top of my current setup, which would get me another ~$140 every week. Thinking and planning since then, my wife and I have realized that because the extra money would cause us to lose the kids' Medicaid. We would lose another chunk, if not all of the rest, of our food stamps.

"Selling" Guild Wars 2

I've been talking to (and trying to recruit) several people lately about the awesome that is Guild Wars 2 and after 3 days of early access and 2 days of it being officially "launched" I wanted to make a quick write-up to cover some of the big points of it since I can't easily do that in the moment while making it as clearly understandable as I'd like. I was recently drawn to become a member of Cracked.com's Comedy Workshop, tempted by the offering of easy cash for what would normally seem to be something simple and easy to do. After a little over 2 weeks, I don't think I'll be bothering to try again any time soon.

Blog(s) Relaunch Incoming

In the coming week (or so), I will be working to move all posts from this blog over to what is currently iKro, for backup purposes. Shortly thereafter, this blog will no longer be Foke as Bruck nor will it be what it is now which is basically a version of iKro that I didn't use the iPod to write everything for. The two ranting and raving (but mostly ranting) blogs will become one and this will be replaced with a "new me" kind of blog. I'll probably take a while to click into a particular style or writing pattern here, but that's part of the plan.

The major goal of the plan is to keep me writing a little of something every day, whether it's a massive blog entry (either here or on iKro (which will also very likely be renamed), or in an actual project. This way, I won't have any days where I regret not doing any writing as I'm laying down and trying to sleep. That would lead to much sleep loss and I already have enough of that crap as it is.

So that's that. At least for now. I'm sure there will be more soonishly one way or another. We'll see what happens when where.
